| Gradient Construction History
Gradient Construction was originally founded
in 1992 by John Riffe, with the goal of supporting residential
construction projects in the largely rural Southern Maryland area.
At first, Gradient Construction specialized in installing
residential septic systems, underground tanks, utilities, plumbing
and HVAC systems, and had just three employees.
As development began to increase in the area, the demand for
Gradient Construction’s services grew and the company turned its
focus to commercial work. Gradient Construction has now served a
wide variety of commercial and government clients, and has built
water/sewage treatment facilities, pipelines and pump stations
throughout Southern Maryland.
Now numbering 40 employees, Gradient Construction’s skilled
workforce is dedicated to the company ideals of efficiency and
quality-oriented work. Gradient Construction’s longevity and growth
are the result of its tradition of caring for its employees, as well
as careful management and above all, a commitment to customer
satisfaction.
